What is Home Health Care?
- Care is provided in your home under the direction of your physician.
- Evaluation, treatments and teaching to assist you in recovering from an illness or injury.
- Goal is to help you be as independent as possible.
- This type of care is usually covered by Medicare, Commercial (example: auto), or private (example: disability) insurances.
When would I use Home Health Care?
Following:
- A hospitalization
- A rehab/Sub-acute stay
- Doctor’s appointment
- Or any difficulty you may have in managing your health or health care needs.
